A 1950's Housewife!

Brown Striped Shirt, Belt Came With: (actually a dress) Kohl's.
Red Skirt: Thrifted.
Long Pearl Necklace: Thrifted.
Red Bow Headband: Forever21.
Brown Knee Socks: Mom's.
Pointy Brown Shoes: Thrifted.
At school today, someone told me I looked like a 1950's housewife! Now, to most people this would not be a compliment, but it actually was to me. I hardly ever get people at school saying that I look from the 40's or 50's. Usually, people just say I look like a teacher or something lol. It was really nice for once for someone to recognize that I like dressing from a different time period! :)
Well, the weather men were right; it has been snowing like crazy since two! We are officially in the middle of a blizzard and supposed to get over a foot of snow. Why couldn't we have gotten this snow during the school week?! That would have been quite lovely..
Do you ever had that day where you are just more inspired that usual? Tonight I was having one of those, where I could put together a lot of outfits that I really liked. Funny how that works, that some days you can find nothing to wear and then other days you want to wear your whole closet at once lol. I cannot wait to wear the two outfits that I put together tonight next week at school! One is 1940's inspired and the other is a dreamy, girly ensemble( which ,as you might guess, is too spring-y for February but I don't care!). :)
