Hello everyone!

How has everyone's weekend been going!? Man it feels good to know that I don't have to go back to school just quite yet... I have tomorrow off for Labor day. Yess! :)

Today me, my family, and Matt all went to this state park about a half hour away from where I live called Mochican. It has all sorts of trails to hike on, as well as camp grounds and such things. Personally, nature and the outdoors don't particularly interest me, but they do when it involves blog pictures! The place was really beautiful to take photos at. So much greenery, serene water, a covered bridge! The bad thing was that there were people EVERYWHERE because...well... it is a state park! So in some of the photos I look a bit awkward. That's probably because there were people staring at me and wondering why some poor girl was wearing heels at a nature park and taking pictures of herself, haha!

I got to try the new camera out today! I am so, so happy with it! I like it even more than the last one I had and am much more pleased with the quality of the pictures.

Hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their Labor Day weekend, and see you all tomorrow!
Lauren.

P.S. Oh, I still have to tell you all that embarrassing story that happened the other day, too!

I've looked at your pictures and you are adorable and super classy. Isn't it awkward trying to take photos in public places? Especially when your outfit is unusual for the location :)

Thank you so much your sweet comment--it made my day SO much brighter...you wouldn't believe how much better that made me feel. And by the way, I love your style and you to pieces too!:)

Oh...the park certainly looks like a very romantic place. It's hard to believe their was people everywhere. The photo of you on the bridge reminds me of the Bridges of Madison County, in Iowa. You look so beautiful...romantic... with a whole lot of class, truly unique. Congratulations on being you.
