Why hello everyone!

I must admit... today was a rather pleasant and contentful day for me. I've been thinking a lot lately about my life and the way I look at things. I'm such a pessimist and I'm always zoning in on the negative aspects of my life rather than the positive. As a little experiment today, I tried to look at all of the positive things in my life and take advantage of all God has given me and... I feel so much more content. My heart feels so much more lighter. Really, I can't remember the last time I felt this content with how one of my days went. I'm not saying that everyday will go perfectly smooth if I try and adopt this new way of thinking to my life because of course it won't. There will be many not so great days I'll have in my life where things will go wrong, but I think it's important that I learn the value of each day and live them to the fullest potential I can.

Hope everyone is doing well!
With much love, Lauren.

P.S. I'm so happy to also have my blunt bangs back again :)

Your bangs rock, Lauren! Come spring I'm not even going to recognize you without the snow in the background! (LOL) I'm glad you are on the upswing. I feel very sad when you indicate that you're struggling. As you have written several times your pictures always convey the impression that you have a perfect life. The truth is that nobody has a perfect life - not our celebrity idols, not the richest of the rich. Part of life is dealing with challenges of one kind or another. Just know that you are not alone. We all have issues and many of us are too timid or too ashamed to discuss them, especially in public. Your followers love you because you have the courage to reveal your flaws and weaknesses. That makes you very special!

I'm glad your feeling happy today! Ugh, I wish I could just think up of bright and happy things, I can be such a pessimist sometimes :p And Lilli actually deleted her blog, but she still wants to read yours! :) Have a great weekend!
