There's Nothing Wrong With A Bit Of Romance...

(All photos via Tumblr)

Hello everyone!

So lately all I've had on my mind are two things: spring and romance. Not necessarily romance between two lovers, but a romance within clothing. Oh, you all know those clothes that make your heart skip a little beat. The muted hues, the delicate lace, the soft hair, and the darling little details are all so... romantic. Romance, romance, romance is on my mind.

But alas, what goes best with all that is romantic? Spring. And spring is not something Ohio is letting me grasp right now. Just today I was let out of school early because the power went out from flood related causes because it has been raining so much. Then we're supposed to be getting more snow soon, too. Ho hum.

Hope you all are doing just lovely though!
With much love, Lauren.

Spring is always too short, maybe that's why it is so precious. These pictures make me feel like a little girl again! <3

I love the romantic, feminine feel of all the photos in this post... The collection really brought a smile to my face :) As I scrolled down your page, I realised you really are a girl after my own heart- all of your style icons are classic beauties born before 1950. I'm your newest follower. I would love it if you wanted to follow my blog as well, but that's entirely up to you :)

Ahhh, beautiful inspiration. Romance is so good for spring...I love romantic things and can't wait to dress up in some flowy and serene outfits in the upcoming months.

There's a shop in Camden (which is in London so not so easy for you sadly) which is just filled with clothes like that. Lace in pastel tones everywhere on everything! It's so soft and delicate though I'm afraid my mere presence might destroy the dresses. :)
If you ever go to Britain though I reccommend going shopping in Camden. I think you'd love it.
