Hello there everyone!
So yesterday I completely forgot to tell you all the two little tidbits (now three) of good news I've had lately!

The first is was that I am so stinkin' excited to be named a trendsetter by Mode Republic, which is an online fashion magazine! They pick three 'trendsetters' every month, and I was one of them- eeps! With being named a trendsetter, I will receive a $30 gift card to any online store they sponsor, and I also was interviewed. So exciting and something I never thought could/would happen to me.

Secondly, do you all remember awhile back when I mentioned that I was selling my American Girl Doll? Well... it sold! And for a much better price than I ever would have imagined. Someone just bought my doll full out and paid $190 dollars for it. After expenses and shipping, the total earnings ended up being about $165 which is a great amount to put toward my 'new camera fund!'

Thirdly, I stopped at a church rummage school after school today and literally hit the jackpot. I found two almost mint condition authentic 1950's tea party dresses and only ended up paying five dollars for both! Ah, they are gorgeous and fit perfectly... They are my dream dresses! One is a light lilac color and the other a light green color and all I need to do is get these babies dry cleaned and they will be ready to wear!

Hope you all are doing just wonderful! And thank you ever so much for helping me out on my last prom hair post... I think I've made up my mind with your help, but you all will have to wait until this Saturday to see which one I pick, hehe :)

With much love, Lauren.

Lauren, you look so happy in these pictures!! The red bow is a nice touch without being too cutesy. I still can't believe that you take all your pictures by yourself - they always look so awesome! I gasped when I saw the polka dot jumper because I'm wearing a polka dot skirt right now that looks just like yours, minus the jumper straps. Hope you have fun at prom!
