Last night was my junior (and Matt's senior) prom, and it was truly a fairy tale night... The theme was a Night in Paris, and unintentionally I think that my thrifted 1950's dress matched the theme pretty well! I chose a romantic, soft updo for my hair and did a grey smokey eye for my makeup. Matt looked SO handsome in his tux and my corsage was just beautiful!
We went out to eat at Applebee's and had a delicious diner. It was so sweet too because people kept coming up to us and telling us we looked so classy! Prom started at 8, so then we were off... We danced the night away: slow songs along with fast songs and were crammed in a room with over three hundred other students in colorful formal wear... It was so incredible hot and unbearable in my huge dress! We got a picture taken in a free photo booth, and I just love the way the silly pictures turned out, hehe.
After prom was hosted at the local bowing alley from 12-3, and all bowling, pizza, pop, snacks, and dessert were free. First Matt and I went home to change out of our formal clothes, and then headed to the party. To say I stuffed my face is an understatement! We bowled six different games, and I was so tired since I'm not used to staying up till past 11! We drove home tired and content with the night that we both thought was just perfect...
Hope you all are doing lovely!
With much love, Lauren.
