Hello there everyone!
So this past Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was my town's annual Blueberry Festival! Since I live in a small town it's a fairly large deal where everyone comes out to the festival to eat greasy food, ride creepy rides, socialize, and listen to local bands. Matt and I went on Friday ,but I was so disappointed because I couldn't go any other day because I had to work all of those days! The time I did get to spend at the festival was absolutely lovely though. I wore my new 1950's sundress that I thrifted in Akron that I also wore for yesterday's outfit post, however,I styled it up a bit differently.

It was so nice to actually get to relax and catch up with Matt at the festival. He was so sweet and won me a stuffed dolphin at the basketball game! I ate some delicious and terribly greasy pizza as well, and had a ooey-gooey hot fudge sundae. Oh, and I can't forget real lemonade! I can't go to the the festival without it ;)

I'm somewhat sad though because this was probably my last year going to the Blueberry festival maybe for the next few years... Next summer I'll already be away at college and will miss all of the days, so this was pretty much my last year to go. At least the time I got to go was wonderful though!

Hope you all are doing well... I woke up still feeling upset from yesterday, but now I'm doing much better. Tomorrow is a busy and exciting day because I get my hair cut (hooray for going back to blunt bangs!), I get my school schedule, and I also get to go school supplies shopping. Corny I know, but I've always been a corny person who likes corny things.

With much love, Lauren.

That dress looks wonderful on you! The festival sounds very cute, I haven't been to something like that in years. I used to love going shopping for school supplies too.

Aw..gotta love small town festivals!! A blueberry one especially sounds lovely.

Your vintage dress is quite a beauty!! That really is a fantastic find. I am drooling over your necklace as well. Anthropologie had one that looked just like that last year and it wanted it so badly...I can hardly believe yours is F21...how completely awesome!!

I remember being sad to be away while in college..but it's so exciting as well. You'll get to discover so many new things...maybe even a festival:)

I love your necklace! Festivals are my favorite summer/fall activites. I can't go to a festival without having a funnel cake. Looks like your little town puts on a good festival & who doesn't love blueberries!!
