Cry of the Caged Bird.

Cream Dress: H&M.
Leopard Cardigan, Bow Headband, Cream Socks: Forever21.
Bird Cage Necklace, Brown Wedges: Target.

Hello everyone!
You'd think that by December I would understand that it's cold out and I need to cover my legs, right? Ergh, I guess I can never take a hint until it's time to go out and do outfit photos... When I can't feel my legs any longer after a few shots it's at that point I realize I should have probably put tights on, ha!

Although the temperature is cooling down, it still hasn't cooled down enough to snow which, surprisingly, upsets me. I am a person who absolutely abhors snow. It makes driving, wearing dresses, and taking outfit photos miserable. I have an empty feeling though in my Ohio girl heart without a snow filled December. It just doesn't feel right. I hope that we get some snow soon; even if it's just a smidgen. Have you all had snow yet...?

With much love, Lauren.

P.S. If you haven't entered the giveaway to win the beautiful cameo necklace from Shabby Apple do so if you would like! Not too many have entered yet so you have a wonderful chance! Here it is:

I have that same dress in black! I love it, it's surprisingly heavier than it looks too. I love the cream color though, I'm almost temped to buy that version now :) Love your look!

This outfit is so girly and cute! I really love the leopard print cardigan with the cream-colored dress. Cute necklace too. We're nowhere close to getting snow at this time of year. Usually, atleast. We occasionally get snow once or twice from January to March. But this is supposed to be a cold winter so maybe we'll get some at the end of the month?

OH I am totally missing the snow! Iowa has had little flurries here and there, but nothing has really stuck. I really hope it'll snow (blizzard-like) soon. It was 22 degrees here today when I walked home, with the windchill of 9 degrees! I have no clue how you were able to take these gorgeous pictures without looking like an ice cube! Lovely outfit too, it reminds me of Winter, with your white dress:)

I adore this whole look! Your hair looks amazing, too!

& I'm the same way, you never realize how cold it is until you're taking outfit photos and your shivering with goose bumps all over hahha.

They promised us snow this week, but no such signs yet and I am the same way with coats. It's so hard for me to get into wearing them no matter how cold it gets. Anyhow, I love your leopardy ensemble...very classy and darling and done just right:)

I wish we had snow! But in NC, it's been way too warm for anything like that! Anyways, you look so pretty. I love the background, and your dress looks so pretty. Great outfit!

I agree, beautiful! We had a teeny sprinkling of snow the other day, and zip since then. It's driving me crazy! I was shocked to see you could still (mostly) rock the bare-legged look without freezing, but you look gorg!

Lovely outfit! I love the sweater and dress! And I feel like I haven't gotten the memo about cold weather either! I always forget how cold it is, and I don't dress warm enough! Sigh...

It has snowed in the mountains around me, so when I look out my window I can see some snow, but none in my yard! I want to make a snowman! :)

I love this dress! I saw it at H&M in some other colors and thought it was lovely.. I really like this one in cream! :)

Another totally awesome outfit Miss Lauren!!! I'm saddened to hear that you haven't had snow yet this year... We had one snowfall that melted the next day, but a couple of days ago we received our annual Minnesota snowfall which hasn't left us yet. Although you have truly great reasons for hating snow, I still love it all and am blessed that it came this year just as my b-day was about to end!!! But for your sake and reasons, I can totally agree with your hate of snow! I even already saw a good 20 snow angels out there already!!! :-)

Thinking of buying a bird cage? There are currently hundreds of different types of bird cages for sale in pet stores and online and dimensions can vary from a few inches to many feet; whilst the smaller cage can home finches and canaries, the larger ones are good enough to accommodate larger birds like hyacinth macaws and parrots.

That's soooo funny you said that about the bare legs because as I scrolled down the photos I was soooo thinking of writing "Get thee hence to a tights shop and cover thou thine legs!!!!!!! You maketh me feel cold!!!!"
I totally understand your snow emotions. I had a horrible snow related incident last year where I broke one wrist and sprained and damaged the other one on the last day of school last year and was stuck for the whole holidays so I am totally dreading that part of the snow but the little girl in me says, "But I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant it to snow!"
