Season of Hope.

Pink Blazer, Black Skirt, Silver Pendant: Thrifted.
Black Velvet Booties, Floral Top (actually a romper): Forever21.
Cameo Necklace: Gift from my grandmother.

Hello everyone!
It was an especially long week this week. Not that every week of high school isn't long, but this week particularly stretched on endlessly. Perhaps it's the looming days of Christmas that have me jittery to be out of school and enjoying time with my family instead. Perhaps it's the gifts waiting to be wrapped in red and green paper and adorned with fancy bows. Perhaps it's the Christmas cookies that still need to be baked and decorated. The trees are my favorite. Or perhaps it's the feeling of love, joy, and safeness that Christmas brings when I stare at the twinkling lights of my Christmas tree. The spherical shaped ornaments dance around and the homemade ornaments show my childlike face framed in glasses and smiling with a crooked smile. An angel sits on the top with her hands crossed, holding a candle that symbolizes hope. Hope for now. Hope for this coming year. For for the future.

With much love, Lauren.

That color of pink is gorgeous on you, and I love the cameo necklace. Lucky girl getting it from your grandma! You have a lovely blog and I'm now following. Stop by my blog some time and say hi (and follow back if you're interested).

That color works so well for you, and yes, this week has been dragging on. I'm just waiting for monday, 7pm...when I'll be done with my last final and can be on break for a month.

Have fun preparing for the holidays...sometimes the anticipation is even better than the holiday itself!

I absolutely love how this outfit goes together, and the blazer! I love the layering that you did too, with the necklaces. Your boots are also so perfect, I wish I had the guts to wear something so out there but gorgeous to school! Have fun preparing for the holidays--it definitely is the best time of the year! :)

I'm sorry you had a long week. But you're right, there is hope. You know what is strange, is that it's been sort of a very rough patch in my life, and today I was also reminded of hope in many ways, including your post. thanks Lauren.

And as for your outfit, ohhh my word, you look stunning. And I'm not just saying that. I love all your outfits, but this one...it's GOT to be one of my favorites :)

I really love the double necklaces you're wearing. That pink blazer is awesome too! You look super cute. I completely understand about the days lasting so long before the break starts. Luckily I'm done already haha

You look so hot in these heels! Ow ow! Hehe :)
I really like this look, every piece works so well together. Especially love the cameo necklace and the pretty floral pattern.

I know exactly what you mean about the Christmas jitters, I get them too! If only the holidays lasted longer... hmpf.
