Blushed.

Cream Lace Blouse, Nude Chiffon Skirt, Crystal Necklace: Thrifted.
Cream Tights: JcPenny's.
Tan Clogs Heels: Target.

Hello everyone!
We received another surprise snow storm here in Ohio and it was simply marvelous! I was so happy that I got the chance to take these outfit pictures while it was still snowing because I love the little touches of snow in my hair and the cascading snowflakes. All of the snow adds the perfect romantic touch to my nude outfit! Wearing all nude/blush tones is seriously my favorite way to put together an outfit. I love playing with a similar color scheme, but mixing different textiles to create an interesting outfit. I think I love wearing blush tones, especially in the winter, because they accent my paleness. I know it sounds weird to want to 'accent being pale' but unlike most of my bronze obsessed classmates I love being pale in the winter! I think it's so important to embrace your natural skin tone as the seasons evolve, and I've always been a strong advocate against any sort of tanning or even fake tanning in the winter time. I mean, it just looks weird. Seeing all of the orange faced gals at my school in the middle of the winter sure is a silly sight!

Anyways, hope you all are enjoying your weekend
With much love, Lauren.

What an absolutely gorgeous and romantic outfit, and like you said - the snowfall is the perfecting touch in these photos!

I embrace my pale skin, too! I don't get it either - why would you want to be orange, and in the middle of winter of all seasons!? Can't understand that at all.

This outfit is awesome! I can't believe that skirt was thrifted. I have one like it in black that was over $50! You are such a lucky duck. And I love the way the snow is in your hair. It's lovely.

I love fresh snow on trees and your photos have such a soft, romantic look to them. (snow storms can be so much fun, they make everything look so pretty afterwards and the snow looks lovely in your hair.)

You look so cute as usual, but I'm really love your monotone/nude look, the lace top and nude skirt are pretty together. The green of the trees being the only colorful color really sets your whole look up.

This is such an stunning outfit. It actually does have such a winter feel to it. The skirt is simply gorgeous! The snow is also soo pretty. I wish we would get more snow here! I mean we usually do, but right now it feels like summer! It's soo odd!

I can honestly say you look like a model in these pictures. With the snow and the lovely pine tree in the background, it almost seems like a set! And your skirt makes your legs seem a mile long:) And I am actually very pale year-round, which is one of the reasons why I like winter so much. <3

Oh this is so magical Lauren! You still have snow, I wish to be there even for a moment! And I agree so much about accepting your natural skin tone. I have always been pale and am not meant to tan. I don't even like the fake stuff!...And yet I am just as happy as I am

By the way have you seen yourself on my inspiration board? http://www.viewfromheels.com/2012/01/do-you-want-to-be-in-magazine.html

It's too late to participate for this competition (it;s already on print!), but soon I will announce the next one. I think I will go for Floral trend, so you SHOULD take a part :) I think your pictures would look lovely in the magazine. x
