Mishmash.

Purple Skirt, Blue Beret: Forever21.
Floral Blouse: Thrifted.
Brown Wedges: Target.
Pink Satchel: Plato's Closet.
Lipstick in Great Planet Pink: c/o Lime Crime.

Happy Friday everyone
I was in a rather contemptuous mood all day at school...It's a long story I won't go into but save for another time. After school though was incredibly lovely!

I went to the local craft store and bought some materials to make floral crowns for a few fashion show looks, and then came home to take these outfit photos. This outfit is sort of a mishmash of a lot of different things. I don't think any of it goes together, but hey it was worth a shot! I also tried out these new 'impress' nails that I got a sample of in my Lulu's package. They're basically a press on manicure and I like them quite well! I've never had fake nails though so I find it quite hard to do some normal tasks.

After a bit I went to Matt's house and we watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It was the first time I had ever seen it and I can say it is easily one of the saddest movies I've ever watched...that aside, it was an incredible movie about the Holocaust that I highly recommend. I also got pictures of Matt's new puppy tonight that I hope to show you all soon!

Tomorrow I have a busy day ahead of me as I am going up to Cleveland to have a model fitting for the fashion show. Super duper excited :)

Hope you all are doing lovely
With much love, Lauren.

P.S. Look at this creepy crawler I almost stepped on when taking pictures! Scared me so much I gasped out loud...

What a gorgeous outfit! The colors of the top go so well on your skin. I love how you can make a beret springy as well. Oh my goodness, I would have screamed, jumped 5 feet, and never gone back to the woods if I ran into that snake. Yikes!! The Boy In The Striped Pajamas is incredibly sad...we watched it at the end of sixth grade year and almost everyone left the room crying. So haunting.

I can't wait to see the pictures of Matt's puppy, I'm sure she is adorable. Have a wonderful weekend, it sounds like you have some fun stuff planned. :)

Those shoes are so to die for!!

I love that books, so I'm glad to hear that the movie is good too. But you are so right, it is really sad.

School is almost over, so don't stress it! Can't wait to see the puppy pictures.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! Ugh. I just shivered with fear. I would have literally freaked out, like climbing up in the trees with wedges on freaking out. He is so long! Watch out for those guys, kay?

Ah snake! Good thing you saw it and didn't step on it!
Also, I really love the print on your top. It looks so nice with your purpley skirt. And I'm super loving your beret.

I love this! That bag and that beret are the perfect colors to go with this look and your nails are beautiful. Are those fake nails or are you blessed with perfect nails?!

Thats the perfect spring outfit! All the colors in your shirt work perfectly with you:) And your nails are gorgeous, I don't think I would ever be able to pull off fake nails, haha, they would probably rip off.

I haven't seen the film, but I have read the book of the Boy in the Striped Pajamas and I would seriously reccommend reading it. I love the way it tells it all from a child-like perspective. (Im actually afraid of seeing the film and finding it not as good).

Also -weirdly jealous about the snake! I really like snakes and would love to see one in the wild. Britain is boring like that. :)
