Hat: It's a long story.

Hello

I haven't been feeling too well the past few days mentally or physically and have been spending much of my time in bed. Today I ventured out though with my grandmother for a day of my favorite things. We had some lunch at Panera, I picked up a new journal at Barnes and Noble, and we both tried a mini cupcake at a local sweet shop. Then we stopped downtown and got coffee at my favorite place and did a bit of thrifting where I picked up a tapestry purse, a much coveted cream sweater, and a navy bow for my hair. Successful if I do say so myself!

I also took some outfit pictures in a frigid alley way that actually turned out better than expected despite how miserable I felt from the cold. This outfit is unusual for me but it still has the touches of femininity and vintage appeal that I like.

I hope to better explain my melancholy self when I get things figured out in my head. If you could, send some positive thoughts for strength my way. I am forever truly grateful

With much love, Lauren.

I love to see you experimenting like this! It looks really great, and the way you're wearing that hat is too cool. I've been sending a lot of positive energy and prayer your way the last few days. You've got this!

You are just gorgeous Lauren! This outfit combination (especially those over-knee socks) really suits you! I know what you mean about weird, unexpected mood changes. I get them all the time but I find that it helps to watch a feel-good movie, snuggle up with blankets (or a kitty in your case) with some hot chocolate! :)
Lots of love xoxo Maria

I hope that you feel better super super soon! Enjoy the rest of your break, it goes by so fast, huh?

Hi Lauren, I always love your outfits. They're so creative and lovely and accentuate your natural beauty. It's odd to say these things to someone I don't know, but they're true nonetheless :-)

Whatever melancholy thoughts are invading your mind right now, just know that they will disappear someday soon. Have a lovely weekend!

I really love the simple, edgy feel of this outfit. Those shorts fit you perfectly! I feel like it is so hard to find a pair of high wasted shorts that are actually flattering.

Also, I am so jealous of your confidence to wear different colors of lipstick. I have always wanted to be a lipstick girl, but I have no idea how to pull it off. You pull it off so effortlessly. Like you were born to wear lipstick or something cool like that. Haha Love it!

Envious again. I really love your style. If Philippines get a little colder even during this season I could wear those stuff. :p Anyway, just hold on to people that you can pull strength, your family. Everything will be okay.
