Cats and Tracks.

Kitty Dress: Modcloth.
Purse, Heels, Hat: Thrifted.

Hello everyone!

The day before Easter my family and I spent the day together and went on a little adventure to a neighboring town. I got a chance to take pictures at one of my favorite places- an old train station! The last time I took pictures here was two years ago and this shoot/outfit remains one of my favorites of all time. I used to dress much more vintage and sometimes I do miss going all out with hats, makeup, gloves, and purses. At this point in my life though I like to lean towards more vintage inspired looks, but that certainty doesn't mean I don't like a head to toe authentic look every now and then!

Anyway, I wore my beloved kitty dress on this day. Haven't sported it in such a long time! I took it back at Christmas time and forgot to bring it to college with me again, so I was happy to rediscover it while on break. And how could I not include a picture of my handsome man when I am donning a dress with cats on it? Miss my Rascal already

In other exciting news, I got a call today from another store wanting to interview me for a position! I am so insanely excited and blessed, just even to have the opportunity to get an interview. Crossing my fingers that one of these places works out and even if not, I know that He will provide and do what's best for me :)

With much love, Lauren.

Yep, that was my favourite post of yours ever! I always think of that one when I think of your blog! If you ever decide to part company with that dress, let me know, you have a buyer ready!!!
Love the kitty dress and those shoes are so perfect. Sigh, that's exactly what I want for my wedding shoe (they're dance shoes right?) but can I find anything remotely like that in my foot size? No, sadly not!

Also, that post of yours from two years ago is so cute. You look so young, too. Isn't it awesome to see how we change?

Congrats on the second interview! You go, girl!

So cute! I love the location and the outfit, and you look so pretty! Love that smile.
What an envy for bare legs and spring feeling.. Here the weather has been so dreadful lately, and it's still winter, with sweaters and boots and all...

I love your kitty dress! I have a kitty dress, too. It's pink with black kitties all over it. I adore it!

I hope that your interview goes well and that you get a job working retail. I am also hoping to get a job working retail this summer. My goal is to work at Kohl's since it is close by.

Wait... did I miss you getting blunt bangs?! They look fab on you, and as a girl with blunt bangs of her own, I appreciate a girl who can pull them off as well as you do! I love the dress - I ordered it from ModCloth when they first received it, and it didn't look nearly as good on me as it does on you, so I ended up returning it. Yay for job interviews!!! Like I said before, they'd be crazy not to want to hire you! Fingers crossed! :)

Another interview, how exciting! Looks like you have some great opportunities ahead :) I really do love that kitty dress. I don't have nearly enough kitten print in my closet. Also, those shoes look like what we used to wear in theatre! They are darling and make me miss my days on the stage :)
