Hello there ladies and gents!
Last night was what every college student dreads each semester: SCHEDULING. I mean, there has to be an easier way than thousands of college students anxiously waiting until 12:01, frantically typing in CRNs to register for classes...then not getting in them, the system breaking down (so nerve wracking), then trying to find a substitute for the ones you didn't get in to. Whew. At least it's over with for another six months and I did a fairly good job getting into everything I needed but one class.

It stinks I couldn't get into this class because it's a required fashion class, but there was only one time slot and 100 seats total...and right before scheduling there were only 13 seats left so yeah, I knew I wasn't going to get in. It'll be a pretty boring semester with still finishing up my core requirements with child psychology, micro economics, statistics, and then college writing. I have one fashion class; a lab and lecture on fabrics. But what I'm REALLY excited for is that I signed up for a swing dance class; ah! I've been wanting to learn how to swing dance for years. I also was lucky enough to get my Fridays completely off so it'll be a three day weekend every weekend for me :)

I knew I had to take pictures underneath these stunning blooming trees on campus when I saw them. Although it was highly embarrassing to be snapping away last Thursday in literally the middle of campus with a ton of people around, I'm glad I got to capture a little bit of spring. I miss all my favorite spots that are beautiful in the spring back home.

Hope you all are well! x

With much love, Lauren.

Oh man I remember those days trying to get into classes, it was very nerve wrecking. But yeah your pictures look great, so it's all good even though you had to take pictures in the middle of the campus. Your dress is so adorable, I have the same beret from target don't you just love them. But yeah I love your style its super cute! :)

Swing dance class sounds like so much fun! I've gone swing dancing once before but I was definitely not too good at it. Sorry you couldn't get into that one class.

Oh how pretty! I love the one of you with the blossom in your hair! Scheduling is always so stressful... it stinks having to take care of core requirements (though getting them out of the way early is always a good idea), but swing dancing sounds like SO much fun!!! I am envisioning the outfit posts now :)

Haha, thankfully my school does classes by how many credits you have, so it's not too hard to get into the classes you need. Plus my school is tiny, haha. I am also in microeconomics next semester. We can get through it! I know it!

American universities sound really weird! You have all these events and things to do that sound really odd to an English gal! So is the swing dance actually part of your credit???
Anyway, I adore Swing-dance- we're off to a lindy-hop weekend in Brighton on Saturday which will be super cool- I can't wait!x

I've heard much about scheduling being a hassle in college.

That is so great about swing lessons! I took them when I was in high school and wish I could have continued. I am sure you'll have a grand time!!!

Your outfit looks wonderful!! I think the dress is so sweet.

I remember those days, signing up for classes. It was hard at first but the last 2 years I had so many units that I was one of those jerks who was able to schedule their classes way before everyone else lol. I am so jealous of your anchor dress, I want that one!
