Matching Mint.

Matching 1960's Sweater Set: Inherited.
Bow Heels: c/o Yeswalker.
Mint Bracelet: Forever21.
Vintage Purse: Thrifted.
Lipstick in MAC's 'Myth.'

Hello everyone!
My town is actually a pretty sweet place for picture taking. There's all sorts of interesting murals and secret hideouts around to make beautiful backdrops. Unfortunate thing is, downtown is pretty a lot ghetto and if you're up for getting harassed you'll at least get some good pictures out of it. I pick and chose my battles wisely.

Anywho, this is a super cool carousel mural that represents the handmade carousel we have running in town! I'm sad I couldn't actually get the picture of the whole thing in the frame, but the pastel paint compliments my 1960's set nicely. This is one of the pieces I greedily kept for myself instead of putting it in the shop. I love mint green too much and a skirt and sweater set was too good to be true. I love you 1960's.

I also did my makeup super heavy and 1960's like which was different than what I've normally been doing. I've been trying to go more natural with just foundation and mascara so this felt like I was an absolute clown.

Hope you all have a swell start to your weekend! x

With much love, Lauren.

Very cute outfit, and I love the picture in the background! :) I think it's cool how you mix up your style and can wear something from a different era any day :D

This is simply stunning on you . The shade mint is a colour that doesn't suit all people but your skin tone is sooooo warm and you look fabulous in it. What a fabulous location too!!xxxx

Ohh, Lauren! I'm so so glad you kept this beautiful mint set and didn't put it in the shop! It's absolutely perfect on you and no one else should have it. And I love your hair with this half-up-bouffant. You definitely do not look clownish in the slightest! Your makeup looks really beautiful here; you're just a natural beauty, so you don't need it for the everyday. I normally dislike a nude lip on me (I have a small mouth with fairly thin lips, so it looks like I have none), but it's lovely on you here. And don't even get me STARTED on the carousel mural!! Amazing.
