Hello everyone!

Here's a little 'October' inspired outfit-- even though it still feels like August here in Italy -__-  Probably one of the biggest bummers about living here besides missing my family is missing fall. The midwest does fall like no other, and here in Italy, fall is just sort of non-existent. It's still 80 degrees every day, the leaves haven't changed, there isn't anything seasonally flavored, and just the essence of the feeling isn't here. It is sad, because most of my favorite memories from childhood up until even now are from fall, and it's a season I cherish when it rolls around every year...to miss it and just go straight into Christmas/snow when I get back will be kind of sad and definitely jarring, but I really am lucky is so many other areas so I cannot complain too much.

I was so stoked to get this cat bag in the leather market yesterday for only 11 euros!! Most of the stands sells the same bags (which are adorable nonetheless), but this was the first time I saw a cat bag. Snatched it up in a hot minute and took it out for a spin today! It doesn't hold much, but me being a dummy only brought one purse with me-- a huge, satchel-- so when I want to just take the essentials with me going out this is the perfect bag.

I am leaving tomorrow evening for Prague for the weekend-- will miss you all! Love you :)

With much love, Lauren.

Ahhhh, the leather markets of Florence!! I spent my whole time searching for a small green leather satchel but never found what I wanted for the right price! I found a fake-leather one when I was back in England but it wouldve been nice to have the smell!
The dress is cute as is the bag!x

I'm sorry you're missing fall, it is definitely my favorite season as well, and i know how much i would be bummed if i didn't have it either.

Hope you have a wonderful time in Prague!

I love your boots! And I know a little bit of how you feel. Where I live in Washington State it has been soooo warm. It got up to 88 degrees on Monday and was 90 degrees across the Columbia in Oregon. Seriously :P

Also, that oufit is really cute, the cat bag is such a nice touch and I'm in love with the hat!

It sounds like fall in Georgia over there! I feel your pain ever single year. There just isn't enough transitional weather. I still hope you can deal with the slight lack of fall though! At least you look adorable. I love your hat and the mix of brown and black in this outfit.

Love this outfit - especially the hat! I also think I may need to invest in a smock dress in the not-too-distant future! :D

LOVE THAT BAG!!!

The year I lived in Georgia, when there was no four seasons, was very disorienting - and not only to me, but especially to one of my dogs! In one aspect it is was nice to never have a big hard cold winter ... but in another there was no fall cooling-off, no spring waking-up - the weather just felt like a Groundhog Day ;)
