Hocus Pocus.

Striped Dress: Forever21.
Orange Cardigan: Thrifted.
Black Booties: H&M.
Tights: JcPenny's.
Beret, Scarf: Target.

Hello there everyone!
I did a spooky themed photo shoot in a graveyard for a guest post I did for the lovely Elanor of Missing Lovebirds. She is the queen of thrifting beautiful pieces, and she is one of the most classically beautiful ladies I've ever seen! Her blog is one of my absolute favorites, so stop by to check it out and also read about the super creepy experience I had at the graveyard!

With much love, Lauren.

Love love love this outfit! You're playing with so many layers and directions but keeping the color palette really straight forward. I never would have thought about layering thin socks over patterned tights, but it totally works. Very cool.

I love this! If you decided not to dress up for Halloween, but wanted to participate, this would totally be the outfit. It looks great. But when don't your outfits look great!? Such a fan!

Wow you are such a beautiful girl hun. The pairing of the vertical stripes with peach cardigan is a gorgeous combination ^_^ I'd be a tad freaked out if I did a shoot in a cemetery lol. Kudos to you for having the courage to do so! =D I bet there were a lot of little nit bits around to look at ^_^

Your make-up has been looking excellent lately. And so stylish when paired with your rockin' fringe!

Bonus points for having a photoshoot in a graveyard. I took a class once concerning graveyards. It was super interesting. There's a lot you can learn from them, historically and socially speaking. I'm off to read about your spooky experience right now! I can barely contain myself! ;)

I guess I'll have to live with admiring how cute they look on you! xx

You look so cute! I love the pattern on your tights and the socks you layered over them. The striped top looks great too. And, as always I love your beret.

Hi Lauren, I stumbled upon this post by chance (looking for something else on Lookbook) and...I was very positively surprised! I LOVE taking pics of cemeteries - I see it mostly as a history archivist mission (time passes quickly and cemeteries become eradicated) but I'm often stunned by the beauty of the sculptures and nature (trees, squirrelds, birds). But I never thought of photographing people on graveyards - in Poland it's viewed in general as something in bad taste. Maybeeee not, if such graveyard is a famous tourist site or abandoned like this one. I'm from northern Poland, where these are many abandoned cemeteries of religious minorities, people of German and Dutch origin, taken care by local population.

So if you want to know more about Polish graveyards, you can always write me. You can few pics on my Instagram account kordian.k. Pics were taken on the spot by Samsung cell but you can get a grasp of the bigger picture :) I'm very casual and amateur photographer but I have some hopes to step up my IG game in the future :)

Sadly, I don't have much time to browse the rest of the blog but I can see you are beautiful person with exquisite taste. At the same tame you seem very unique and pretty much what Polish people imagine when they think of "beautiful American woman". I also appreciate honesty of this journal, must be good prose if you have time to read... Glad many people support you.

tl;dr: I'm very happy someone likes taking pics of graveyards like me and is creative with that. Cheers!
