Dearest readers,
Life goes by in the blink of an eye and many people live with regrets. They wish that they had lived with more gusto, or told that special someone that they loved them. They wish that they had traveled the world, or taken that leap of faith.... I don't ever want to be someone who lives with regret at the end of my life, and that's why I have this blog, Someone Like You. Someone Like You is me, Lauren Pfieffer. It holds all of my secrets, the dark and the deep ones, or the silly and superficial ones. It holds the tears I've wept, and the laughter I've giggled. It holds all of my inspiration, thoughts, musings, wishes, dreams, and yes, parts of my past. It's something I've put my whole soul into without looking back & without having any regrets about. I wouldn't have any of this any other way.
Someone Like You is my chance to live the life I want with no regrets. To be able to learn from my mistakes and misgivings I've had in my life (and trust me there are many!). To be able to live perhaps vicariously the girl I'm always too scared to be. To make the friendships I wish that I had in real life, but just haven't found yet. And to make countless memories and fulfill the wishes I've always kept close to my heart...
Each and every one of you readers is dear to me and part of my journey. Each and every single one of you is proof that a single person, no matter how small, can impact someone's life immensely. Everyday I thank God for all of you and for the chance to have this blog. Without Him and Someone Like You, I wouldn't be where I am today.
