I feel like this post title has two meanings. One, a rather superficial and obvious reason- I'm wearing hearts all over my body up the ying yang.
But another reason isn't so obvious. I've always been told I look terrible in bangs. I sported them as a toddler, into childhood, and into my preteen years. I grew them out after deeming them 'unhip' during my early teenage years, but went back to them my junior year of high school. I've gotten them for every fall, winter, and spring season since. They're just too much trouble to mess with in the hot summer months.
But it never fails, every time get them cut that someone has to tell me how much they hate them. How much they make me look like a little girl. How much they don't flatter my face shape. How much they like me without bangs better...
But I don't want to listen to those people because I love myself in bangs. They make me feel like me. They make me feel confident. I feel like I better fit into my clothing style. People's criticizing words have never stopped me from doing what I want and what I like.
And they shouldn't stop you either. Pull a Miley Cyrus with your hair if you want.

Sometimes you've just got to listen to your heart ♥
With much love, Lauren.
P.S. If you're interested in me awkwardly talking about what clothing I'm bringing to Kent, check out this right over here!
