Wind Blown.

Mint Lace Dress: Delia's.
Floral Cardigan: Thrifted.
Bow Belt, Flower Ring: Forever21.
Infinity Scarf: Target.

Hello there
With Ohio there is always compromising, never complete wins. Although the snow melted off and it's a bit warmer, a new demon has replaced the cold and his name is wind. I can deal with snow, rain, sun, hot, cold, you name it. But ask me to deal with wind and it's like, is there really even a purpose to it besides being annoying?

I don't like to rush seasons, but I am quite excited for the leaves to be blooming on the trees soon for spring! This little patch of trees I take pictures in is so sad looking and the ugly dorms + construction is clearly visible behind me :( If it wasn't just a step outside my dorm I would go somewhere else, but I've yet to find a place not crawling with people who want to curiously watch me take awkward pictures of myself...ha.

Anywho, enough of my grumbling for today (seems I need a bit more coffee in me!). I wanted to say that I have been getting so many incredible and touching emails as of late. Anything from body acceptance, starting a blog, or just saying hi...it fills my heart with so much joy to know this silly blog has affected someone out there in the world and perhaps changed their life a smidge. It's the best gift I could ever receive

With much love, Lauren.

I love the flowerprinted cardigan so much. You look beautiful. And I like your "new" hair-style, too.

Greetings from Hungary. ^^

I am head over heels in love with that last photo. Such a wonderful combination of pastels, tied together with that bright fuschia :)
And yep, wind sucks...especially when wearing skirts/dresses. Gah.

Hey Lauren, why not tell us more details about your classes, friends, shopping trips and general day to day life? It's so cool you seem to be much happier but you never seem to share anything too detailed anymore. Maybe your personal emails is where all the details are now instead of the public blog. I would love to read about more reflections on your daily classes, experiences etc. We never hear about your roommate, not too much about any shopping trips you might take around there.....? Anyway, cute outfit. I think your longing for spring is reflected in your lovely sweater.

Ah, that dress is just divine. It's one of my favourite colours.
I kind of want to agree with Anonymous up there. You are welcome to blog on whatever you like but I said when you started your course that I was really fascinated about what you are doing - none of my friends have ever done a fashion course. I can understand if you don't want to talk about work all the time but I am curious about your classes etc. But feel free to ignore the thoughts. Just plain curiousity. :)
P.S. Just noticed your boots!
Awesome. They totally rock.
