Multi Strand Pearl Necklace: Forever21.
Pearl Bracelet: Gift from my friend Sabrina.
Bunny Flats: Giveaway win, Le Bunny Bleu.

Hello, hello, hello!

The past couple weeks here at school I've been stuck in this weird social rut. I went through a period where all I really did was sleep and be in my room by myself and didn't hang out with any of my friends. I was just so tired all the time and the thought of socializing just exhausted and stressed me out.

I decided I'm done being a social introvert though and am going to make more of an effort to put myself out there! Last semester it was easy because everything was exciting and new, not to mention it was easy to make friends because no one had established any yet. This semester is more difficult, but I'm up for the challenge. I'm trying out some school events this week like Swing Dancing, Pi Day, and going to a women's speaker series. I'd like to try to get back into swimming, and I'm making an effort to get coffee with a few people I want to know better. School has slowed down for me now that midterms are over, so this is the perfect opportunity. Only two more months here so I have to live it up!

With much love, Lauren.

Very happy to read that u r pushing yourself to get out there & enjoy college! I know for myself that when I can establish that pattern of doing something, it 'sticks'.

Lovely, lovely OOTD - and such adorable, Easter-esque, shoes!

Lauren!!

I loooove this outfit, first of all. You look like a Southern belle or something. And I love Le Bunny Bleu, though I don't own any of their shoes. But that dress is to die for.

And don't worry about the zipper! It's actually totally fine, it's just that I think I can't zip it up on my own (I think my chest kind of pushes down the zipper when I get it half way up and have to switch positions to zip the rest of the way, hahah)! I haven't even replaced it yet, and it's totally not a big deal -- it definitely still functions, so it's nothing you did or failed to do!! :) Not to worry.
