Hello, hello, hello there

Wearing some spring like colors in honor of March being here! But my wishes for spring have certainty fallen flat. It's been snowing here all weekend and is bitterly frigid.

A lot of both good and bad has happened this weekend.

Good: My friend Sabrina cut my hair! I haven't had my hair cut in around 8 months and it was really bothering me. I asked my friend who does a wonderful job cutting her own hair to do mine. She didn't really cut any length off, but just took a ton of the bulk, thickness, and dead out. I like it a lot and can't wait to show you all!

Bad: I was contently sipping my coffee, reading some blogs the other day when all it took was a slip of my hand and I knocked my coffee onto my computer. The screen instantly went white and I ran to the tech desk to have them fix it. I was so upset with my stupidity, and called my mom absolutely sobbing in hysterics. I don't know if they'll be able to save it but I'll find out hopefully soon. I'm so bummed because I just got it back, too after the hard drive had crashed. I have the worst luck.

Good:  A friend from my high school visited me at Kent this weekend! It was a good time and I have some pictures to show you all :)

Bad: My midterms are this week. And I'm freaking out. And stressed. And I just want them to be over with.

Good: I am already in a new beginners bible study but I'm super excited to be joining a prayer group just for fashion students! I think it's going to be really fantastic to be with people studying the same thing and who are in many of the same situations.

Good: I'm am now a ridiculously proud owner of the prettiest bracelet known to man kind. The Vivienne Kelly bow bracelet I'm wearing in these photos. It's true love guys. I don't think I've ever loved a bracelet more!

Hope you all are well!

With much love, Lauren.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your computer. Hopefully it'll be fixable.
In better news, I adore your outfit. The colors are fantastic and perfectly spring-y. The bow belt looks perfect with that dress. I really really love your bag too!

That bracelet is EVERYTHING! I looove it, and this outfit. I'm so sorry to hear about your computer -- my harddrive crashed a grand total of 3 times before I was able to get a new one, and that was devastating enough. It's really traumatic! Hope it gets resolved soon and without too much damage!

you cute, cute girl. This looks perfect for a uni student with great taste as you are! Very well put together, and it's rare to see pastels in this way, cute but not overdone! Bravo!

from afar I thought your bracelet was the "Pi" symbol, and I thought "oh how cute and great" but then the close up shot showed a bow and I still thought it was cute but was slightly disapointed :P
