Hello everyone!
I literally had the best weekend and thankfully so because it is my last weekend here at Kent for quite a few months! This outfit is actually what I wore Thursday so I'm quite backlogged on outfit posts.

Okay, first reason this weekend was the best. I WENT SWING DANCING. I've found my calling guys. Literally, going swing dancing for one night was more fun than all seven high school dances I went to combined. I went with a group of NAV kids and since it was my first time, I got to do a little lesson before the evening actually started. Now I hate dancing in public with people I don't know. It makes me feel embarrassed because I'm well, bad. But with swing dancing, not once did I feel embarrassed. It doesn't matter if you don't know what you're doing. As long as you're having fun and keep moving no one will look at you any differently. There were quite a few people there, some college age, a few high school, and mostly older couples. I danced with a lot of the NAV boys and was ahem, quite the pick apparently with the other guys, too (for whatever reason I don't know why because I wasn't a good dancer). The old men who asked me were too cute for words and were so patient with me. They taught me a lot of fun tricks like the barrel and sweetheart. I had this one college guy (who was pretty darn cute) ask me to dance and he was so good and it was probably the best dance I had. We clicked really well into our rhythm and he told me I had a beautiful smile. DAW'. I hope I see him next year for swing dancing! Literally it was one of the best nights of my life and I've never smiled so much. I'm looking forward to taking swing dancing as a credit class next semester now more than ever.

I also went to a farewell NAVS picnic which was both sad and so much fun. These guys and girls have become like my family and it's so sad to say goodbye to them all for a few months

On Saturday I went swimming (not in the river this time) with Erin and then we went back to her room and played Just Dance late into the night. I was already so sore from swing dancing and swimming, but seriously, again so much fun. I don't know why I never enjoyed dancing this much before!

Today is half price frappe day at Starbucks and I'm hanging out with my roommate for next year and going to try one of the new summer frappes! Oh, and maybe I should study? Probably.

Life is so beautiful, crazy, and wonderful guys. I love it so much ♥

With much love, Lauren.
