Coffee and Cats.

Cat Dress: Borrowed from Sammi (from Modcloth).
Coffee Break Shirt: Aeropostale.
Loafers: Thrifted.
Wide Brim Hat: c/o OASAP.

Hi there!

Here's the last of the three outfits styling up Sammi's wonderful cat dress :) I wanted to kind of transform it a bit to show that it doesn't always have to be worn as a dress--it makes a great skirt, too! By just tucking in the top part inside to the waist band, it converts to a skirt and is easy to wear with shirts. I wanted to do a quirky, casual outfit and decided to choose a sassy t-shirt to go with an equally sassy dress! You don't necessarily even have to tuck in the top bodice under, either. The dress is short sleeved and it would be easy to put on a pull over sweater, 3/4 length, or long sleeve shirt!

It's been super fun to style up this unique dress and I'm honored that Modcloth even featured me on their instagram in it today! Thank you Sammi, and everyone for reading. x

Which do you like best 1, 2, or 3?

With much love, Lauren.

For me it is a draw between 1 and 2 for my fav I'd happily wear it either way although it would have to be in the dog print for me ;)

Although I'm not a fan of number 3 (too out there for me) it is a very Lauren outfit cats, coffee and hats perfect. :)

I think version number 2 is my favorite. Black pairs really well with the colors of the dress and it's the perfect balance of classy and edgy. Lovely job styling up this quirky piece!

The 2nd look is my fave. Haha - I love the title too! Tough kitty with a black leather jacket - the perfect dichotomy!
