I got a chance to snap some photos after work today which made me so excited! Where I'm living in temporary housing for the rest of the week is right across from Central Park so it's a pretty lovely location. Going to try and take advantage of living so close to this beautiful spot before I move into FIT on Monday...but I'm looking forward to that a lot, too!
Being in the fashion closet all day and going through all of the new pieces has been a great inspiration for putting together my own outfits. Just seeing the creative new designs and trends that are upcoming gets me out of my comfort zone of what I usually wear. Today was another good day at work! More or less what I did yesterday and also learned how to do returns. Returns are finding all the pieces in the closet that a brand or PR company has sent us for a shoot and needs back. We have to find everything that was sent, take photos to document it going out, get the shipping address, and bag it all up. It's an easy process except for finding the garments sometimes. They often get misplaced along the way coming back from the shoot and it's a NIGHTMARE trying to locate one piece out of hundreds that doesn't want to be found. Sometimes we can spent up to an hour of the day having a few of us looking for just one piece. But, it feels great to get the items out of the office to welcome new ones in and it's so satisfying when a messenger comes to pick the items up! My OCD mind loves the way it works, ha.
