Remix #14.

Remixed Item: floral skirt, thrifted.

Hello everyone!
I thrifted this muted floral skirt last summer and thought I wouldn't have anything to wear with it...quite wrong was I! It's been a fun piece to wear with all sorts of different shades- denim, pink, beige, and white. I can't believe I haven't yet, but I actually have an olive green blouse that would match perfectly with it...that'll probably be the next thing I wear with this skirt!

I've had a good times watching some movies over the past few days. I watched (or rewatched) Tuck Everlasting on Friday, Lolita yesterday, and An Education today. (and thank you all for the suggestions!) I'd have to say An Education was my favorite. I just loved the message, the way it was filmed, Carey Mulligan, and of course...the clothes! How predictable am I?

It's hard for me to believe I'll be leaving for Kent in just a week and a half. I've been working diligently on what clothing/shoes/accessories I want to take and I think I'm going to finally pack them all tomorrow. I've had a few requests for a video of myself (goodness knows why...) and I tried filming a vlog the other day that went swell...until I tried uploading it to Youtube! I think I'm going to try again tomorrow though and film what I'm taking to Kent. Would that interest you all at all? Let me know and any other suggestions you may have!

Hope you had a lovely weekend :)

What a versatile piece! It's the best when you have something that goes with everything!

I didn't know Lolita was a movie. I'm reading the book right now!

How adorable! Such a great thrifted skirt.

I can't believe that summer is almost over! I move back to school on Saturday, but hardly no one else moves back in until Wednesday, since I'm working early. Ugh, campus is going to be so lonely. Oh, well, a good time to get organized and plan blog stuff before the stress starts. If you have some days before classes start, enjoy them for sure! :)

I would love to see your vlog about what you are taking to school!

xoxo,
Laura

Muitos beijinhos de uma grande leitora tua, apesar de recente ♥

Isn't it funny how the simplest garments become our favs? I have a skirt like this and it's one of my favorite to wear.

I looooove your hair in the first photo there, the big, soft curls with your cute bangs, it's so pretty and girly! (You're giving me ideas for when I visit the salon. ^_^) That photo is pretty amazing as well, it has a little bit of a Sleepy Hallow feeling, with all of the fall colors.

Very cute skirt! Every way you wore it looked absolutely adorable! And I love the bags in the last two pictures.

I wish I had the time to sit down and really watch some great movies. I'm going to find it, asap. :)

It's crazy to think summer is just about through. I'll be heading back to school in just a few days! The vlog for "going to Kent" sounds fantastic! I'm sure you'll make it interesting.

P.S your blog is simply lovely :)
